It started in 1975, when Dwayne Herring became an authorized Germania Insurance agent in Amarillo. What began as a single carrier appointment grew into a full-service independent agency — one that expanded its carrier access over the decades, deepened its knowledge of the Texas Panhandle market, and kept its doors open through fifty years of change in the insurance industry.
Patrick Herring joined the agency in 2015 and now leads it as the third generation of family ownership. He grew up in Dalhart, about an hour north of Amarillo, and has spent his career getting to know the coverage needs specific to this part of Texas: ranch and farm properties, barndominiums, commercial operations, and the personal lines coverage that keeps Panhandle families on solid ground.

grew up in Dalhart and now live in Amarillo with my wife and our two sons. Insurance has been part of my family for as long as I can remember, and I joined the agency in 2015 wanting to understand it well. I earned my BBA in Management from Texas Tech in 2017 and have been licensed in the Texas market since I joined the team.
